In the heart of Soho, a theatre icon is returning. The Windmill Theatre has been given a new lease of life and will be reopening as Cirq le Soir, an exclusive club for those who want to experience the best that London nightlife has to offer. Ryan Bishti, Director of Cirq le Soir, explains: “The Windmill is a beautiful theatre, and we want to keep its heritage alive. We’re going to be offering an intimate experience with top-quality entertainment.”
Bisht has extensive experience in the club industry, starting his career as a promoter at The Roxy. He then became Director of Fiction Club before founding Cirq le Soir in 2014. When asked about why he decided to start the club, Bishti says: “I wanted to create an experience that was different from anything else on offer in London. We have a great team at Cirq, and we’re all dedicated to providing our guests with a night they’ll never forget.”
The opening will feature a launch party hosted by G-A-Y’s Jeremy Joseph. Performers at the event include magician Simon Drake, burlesque dancer Esme Graham and drag queen Miss Cairo.
Bishti is no stranger to the world of nightlife. He has over a decade of experience in the industry and has been involved in some of London’s most successful clubs, including Mahiki and DSTRKT. When it comes to creating an unforgettable evening out, Bishti knows exactly what he’s doing.
So what can we expect from Cirq le Soir? Bisht is keen to create an intimate and exclusive experience: “We’re not about putting on a show. We want people to feel like they’re part of something special; that’s why the club is limited to just 150 guests.” This isn’t your average night out – Cirque le Soir is all about giving guests a unique and luxurious experience.
The club will be themed around circus and burlesque, with a decadent 1920s feel. Bisht has traveled the world to find the very best in entertainment so that we can expect some truly spectacular shows. If you’re looking for an evening of indulgence and luxury, Cirq le Soir is the place to be.
